10000 threads is excessive.
18 requests - do you mean 18 separate HTTP Samplers?
And how many loops does each thread do?

Yes, Jmeter can put some HTML in the log file. This is to make it a
bit easier to determine the cause of webserver problems. In this case,
it seems you may have overloaded the server.
