Do you know if it is possible to display throughput on the detail
report? Is there a good way to see the statistics while a test is
running using the ANT Task? Currently, I created a buildResults.xml
file that can do this, but it is still manual. When I want to analyze a
test at any given time, I delete the last line of the jtl file and
replace it with a closing tag for the testresults. Here is my
buildResults.xml file. Is there a better way?

select="'N'"/> if you switch the N to a y then the style sheet will add
a column on the failure detail report called response data. This will
display the response data if you have set
jmeter.save.saveservice.response_data.on_error=true in your
jmeter.properties. This response data is in essence a webpage. On the
report it just shows you the text that makes up the webpage, so instead
of just displaying this text I would like the xsl file to save the text
to a location with a .html extension and then just link to that file.
This way if something fails there is a handy link to the response so it
is easier to investigate what the problem was. I am trying to read some
xslt tutorials to find a way to do this, but I have never used xslt
files before so it is taking awhile to do, so if anybody is familiar
with them I could use some advice.

Do you mean that you have run a test which has saved the response to the
JTL file?
In which case, do you mean that you want to pre-process the JTL file to
extract the response data into separate files, and replace the data with
a link?
I expect that is do-able; not sure I know exactly how.
I think the Jakarta download CGI files may be generated this way, so
perhaps that would give some ideas.
Otherwise, perhaps you could use the Save Responses to a File
Post-Processor instead; this will create a new file for each response.
One would then just need to work out the file number to tie them
together. Should be just a matter of adding one each time.

It might be a neat idea for JMeter to be able to save the downloaded
data separately from the rest anyway...
