Hi All, I am new to this group and I am exploring Jmeter(2.1.1) as part of Load Testing on Java based component Testing. I am not able to record my Web application with HTTP Proxy Server recording. I followed all the steps in the "jmeter_proxy_step_by_step.pdf". My web application is a http application. Steps I had followed are: 1) Add aThread group to Test Plan. 2) Add HTTP Request Default to Thread group Filled details as below Protocol: HTTP Server Name or IP: jakarta.apache.org Port No : 80 3) Added Http Proxy Server to Work Bench Filled details as below Port 9090 Target Controller Test PLan> Thread Group Grouping : Do not group Samplers Patterns to Include : .*
I have been to IE v 6.0.XXX.XXX. ( internet Options--> Connections--> Lan Settings). Selected Use proxy Server for Lan Address: 172.22.81.148 Port : 9090 After this. I had clicked on Start button in HTTP Proxy Server Started a new IE session( home Page blank). Browsed through my application. Jmeter does not record any thing under test plan.?. Let me know where am I missing?
