Hi Vibhuthi,
  the home page of my application is login page.
  The address that we type in the url is getting recorded in jmeter, 
  but the login page that is displayed is not accepting the parameters.
  Can u please elaborate on how to send login parameters as request.

I think you need to pass the login parameter from the login page, i hope u
are aware of how to pass the parameter with the request.
