Tomislav, Both TestPartner (from Compuware Corporation) and QuickTest Pro (Mercury Interactive) can test Java applets. TestPartner can see Java Swing Components inside a Java Applet. QuickTest Pro will do the same if you have the Java Plugin for QuickTestPro. I don't know if any open source tools which do this. Hope this helps.
