I can't explain the whole thing here and so i ll explain by a example.
in JMeter i need to make a HTTP request say www.google.com
so for that i can create a Http request and just fill the needed fields and
if i run the script it's over.
But, what happening is, i had a problem with proxy settings
if i do the same in FF/IE i need to adjust the proxy.
Means in order to get the www.google.com site i need to adjust the proxy to
"Auto-detect proxy settings for this network"
If i adjust the proxy to "Direct connection to the internet" or any other
settings available in there, i get "404 Page not Found".
So, for the above same, when a made request through JMeter i get "404 Not
Found" error. so how to overcome this problem.
JMeter does not support automatic proxy setting, so you will need to
find out the appropriate settings from your network support people.
much help is needed.
