Only the test plan is passed to the remote JMeter instance with the

Sorry, should have been more verbose. I tried placing a user.properties
on each of the remote hosts. It's still not picking them up for some
reason.

I have a test plan that uses the __P function to determine various
parameters in the test, such as loop numbers and delay times. If I run
the test locally, whether GUI or non-GUI, it picks up the properties
just fine, whether I specify them in user.properties, or via the -J
parameter.
If I try running this test on the remote boxes, it will not pick them up
whether I use -J, user.properties, or even -quser.properties. All the
__P functions default to 1 and the test end rather quickly.
Has anyone ever gotten this to work? Can anyone explain why it doesn't?
