Objet : remote testing with webservice
Hi,
Here is my environment:
- Fedora Core 6
- Java 1.5
- Jmeter 2.2
I'm trying to setup remote testing with the following configuration:
- 1 machine which is the master (GUI) and a slave (jmeter server)
- 2 machines which are slaves (jmeter server)
- all the Linux machines are on the same subnet (192.168.1.x)
- the machine to stress/test is on the internet (it will be on the same
subnet but for the time been it's like that...)
The test plan is using a single Webservice(SOAP) Request Sampler.
When I'm starting the test with the slave 1 (which is a master as well)
then it's fine. But for the slave 2/3, I'm getting the following in
their logs for each "Thread Group":
WARN - jmeter.protocol.http.sampler.WebServiceSampler: n must be
positive
The "Generate Summary Result" line has 100% for error and 0 for the
avg/min/max.
If I'm running the test plan on each node using the non server mode,
then it's fine...
Another thing, is it possible to run the master with a command line
jmeter? I don't really see the point of using the GUI if I want to start
my test plan on all remote servers.
Regards,
Cedric.
