I could'nt at the time open the recorded items because I could not find them.
While the proxy is running, if you select any of the existing recorded
samples and then continue recording, it can cause subsequent samples
to be written to the wrong place. The proxy seems to lose track of
where it is supposed to store the next sample.
Until the bug is fixed, it's best not to navigate around the tree
until you have stopped the proxy.

There is a known problem with the proxy recorder - if you select a
node in the tree whilst it is recording, the next sample will be
written there.
In the recordings which failed for you, did you open any of the recorded items?
