You can use this, but it's relatively hard work editting XML files,
and they are more resource intensive to process. It is not suitable
for large numbers of entries.

This are reasons why it is deprecated.

The User Parameter element is easier to use, but only for a few entries

CSV Dataset is best for larger numbers of entries.
