I did not try that, but I thought I tried using volatile for the
busywait variable which should be equivalent, and it did not fix the
problem. I must have missed something.
However, using the Commons Net library makes the code much simpler,
and allows file upload to be easily implemented.
Sounds good. I'm using something I hacked together for FTP upload,
and would love to see this capability incorporated into the official
source.
