JMeter 2.2 already included the ability to set PUT and DELETE as HTTP
options - however this was a new feature and I suspece some of the
underlying code needs tweaking to make it work fully.

Bug reports / test cases (via Bugzilla) would be very welcome.

But unless it is a very simple fix, our priority is to get 2.3 out first.
