Hello all,

I have got a problem where the JMeter HTTP Proxy does not correctly access the locally hosted Tomcat Web App.

Settings:
   Proxy Port# : 8000
   IE Proxy Port# : 8000
   Tomcat Port# : 10000

After starting up the Proxy Server in JMeter and setting the IE Proxy settings, accessing the Tomcat Web App hosted @ localhost:10000/..etc.../... gives :
   "The page cannot be found"
HTTP 404 - File not found
   Internet Information Services

The recorded HTTP request of the page stores "Server Name" and "Path," but the "Port Number" box is empty.

Now, manually creating HTTP Requests in JMeter and filling in all the necessary details does get the job done. But manual form setup does not let me capture all the gifs, jpegs, page files, etc, etc. that a normal Proxy Server will capture. Therefore, I need a solution to this problem.

Thanks for your time in advance.

Regards,
MM
