I've not seen this behaviour, but without further information it's
impossible to comment.
What sort of test was run? LDAP HTTP FTP JDBC etc?
GUI? non-GUI? Client-server?
Which version of JMeter? Java?
If you can provide a thread dump, please create a Bugzilla issue and
attach it to that (pls don't post it to the mailing list)
