What other paths? As far as I know, only the CSV Dataset files are
relative to the JMX file.

It might make sense for some other files to be relative to the JMX
file, but that has not been implemented.

I don't think it makes sense for all files to be relative to the JMX
file - for example, the jmeter log and result log files make more
sense if they are relative to the launch directory. This allows the
output files to be private to the test.

Any changes to the relative base would need to be backwards compatible.
