I have been using JMeter recently for testing SOAP WS and I am really impressed by it's power, flexibility, features and ease of use. My main question is that how popular it is for testing SOAP WS applications? Can we say it's sort of an 'industry standard' for testing web applications in general and SOAP in particular? What are it's main open-source or commercial competitors?
