Hi All I am new to performance test and trying to learn the tool. My target is to test user session ( Get to home page - Log in - log Out ) with the condition that one user will be created in each successive one second and test will run for 60 minutes.
I decided to set the thread properties in thread group as Number of threads ( user ) : 1 Ramp-Up period ( in second ) : 1 Loop count : 3600 I use "HTTP Proxy server" to record the user session ( Get to home page - Log in - log Out ).After recording I got 16 "HTTP Request" for a single user session in the thread group and set the thread property as said above. Now my queries are : 1. what will be the Hit( Request ) /second to server ? Is it 16 hit/ second ( as the thread group have 16 HTTP request) ? 2. Am I going in right direction according to my target mentioned above ? If I am wrong , what should be the approach ? Your Guidance and help will be very much appriciated. Regards Sandipan
