I have been trying to use the record capability in JMeter. As per
instructions in the manual/mailing-lists/other websites, I configured
the IE LAN settings. In JMeter, I added a thread group and added a recording
controller to the thread group. Then I added the HttpProxyServer element to
the the WorkBench, configured the settings and started it. But when I use IE
to browse through the local web-pages, I could record the series of screens,
entering data, clicking on buttons and hyperlinks that I have gone through and
I could see all the http requests under Thread GroupàRecording Controller in
the JMeter's left pane. I then added a listener 'View Results in a tree'. I
even added a cookie manager in the thread group.
Now, I have build a perfect test plan and ran the test plan by
using RunàStart. The problem that I am facing is, in View Results Tree tab,
when I click on a page that has been recorded previously and when clicked on
'Response Data' and when chose 'Render HTML', it just does not show me the page
that I recorded and when clicked on 'Sampler result', it gives me a Response
code: 302 and a Response Message: 'Moved Temporarily'. Kindly, provide a
solution for the problem.
