Job Description: Software Tester - QA Load
Resource will be working under the direction of USPS Project Leader and Analyst to perform a lead role on performance test team. Will gather/document requirements, and formulate action plans. In this position you will: ***Job Requires: *Seasoned Candidate with at least 7 years testing experience. *Experienced with Performance Testing *Must be proficient with "COMPUWARE QALoad version 5.5" *"COMPUWARE QALoad Components" *Script Development Workbench *Conductor and Analyze tools *Working some off shift hours *Good technical writing skills experience; Word and Excel skills. *Must be a team player willing to assist in any other assignments. *College degree or acceptable relevant experience. ***Desirable: Background in Microsoft C++ or Visual Studio is highly desirable. Gather information pertaining to application and to understand application’s functionality Develop test plans Develop test scripts Execute performance testing Document performance testing results Present results to development team, test team, and management Conduct/facilitate telecoms and meetings Develop release program plan/schedule and maintain Facilitate and review functional requirements Facilitate and monitor: Business Impact Assessment (BIA) System Requirements Document (SRD) Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) System Design Document (SDD) User Guide & Help Content Release Implementation Plan "As Built" documentation updates Functional Requirements Review (FRR) System Requirements Review (SRR) Test Readiness Review (TRR) Deployment Readiness Review (DRR) **Educational Requirements: College degree or acceptable relevant experience. *Security Clearance Required for this Position:*****The candidates submitted must be able to obtain a Postal Sensitive Security Clearance . It is specific to the US Postal Service and includes a 7 year background check for residence, employment, credit and criminal history. The person will also be fingerprinted and drug tested. Security clearance has a residency requirement. During the past 5 years the candidates cannot have left the US for more than 30 days at any one given time. If they any trips outside the US that lasted more than 30 days they will not qualify for a clearance. Required: Candidate Must be a U.S. Citizen.
