Hi Farid, I've normally used the master as a controller only, and the slaves for actually running the test. However if you are short on machines, and if your master machine is powerful enough, I don't see any reason why you cant run the test on the master as well.

(IP) ************************************* Hi, In distributing testing with JMeter is it better not to run any test locally in master machine? or it is ok also to run test there? I have 4 machines. 1 will be master and others slaves. I wanted to make 50 users to run in each machine? or shall I run test only in slave machines? Thank you.
