Thank you very much for your response. I would like to ask that can I record the web application without changing the browser setting to localhost. Suppose the IP address of my proxy server is 'Y'. So every time I need to change the browser setting as localhost and pass the proxy server address in command line argument which I do not want. Means can jmeter directly listen to proxy server ignoring localhost.
