Hi,
I've made some improvements to the JMeter Maven Plugin and I wish:

1. contribute those improvements to the source base

Sounds great :)

2. propose to publish the plugin and related libraries on the official ibiblio repository to avoid manual install of the plugin and dependencies

Sounds great :)

3. propose to move (upon approval by the Maven Team) the JMeter Maven Plugin under the org.apache.maven.plugins groupID so it will be easier to launch

I suggest Mojo at Codehaus, since it is a lot easier.

For what I could be able to find out, actually the JMeter Maven Plugin doesn't have a source repository at all, am I right?

I know of two separate attempts to create a JMeter Maven Plugin.
1. http://mojo.codehaus.org/chronos-maven-plugin/
2. http://code.google.com/p/jmeter-maven-plugin/

I have sent some patches to 2. and have had some contact with Ronnie Alleva, but there is little activity.

I am a mojo developer, so I might be able to help if you choose to a) create a new plugin there or b) consider working on the chronos plugin.

If the chronos plugin is suitable, I think that is a good approach, but I don't know if it does what you/we want.
