Basically the proxy recorder is used to record the tests that you
normally do when you access the server application or website using a
browser. Once you record this using the proxy recorder you can use the
same requests into your test plan. Basically accessing the server using
the browser results in a sequence of HTTP Post or HTTP Get requests.
Proxy recorder simply records this activity.
I suggest you first record one sample of each simulation that you
require to test then copy them into your test plan. Then based on your
requirements use the controllers and other config elements to run a
complete simulation of the load.

Hi,
Can you further help me?
Before add the HTTP Proxy Server element to the workbench I added a Http
reqest defaults element to the thread group and just gave server name. Then
added a Http reqest and gave "/" to path field. And added a Listner to see
the record. but it did not work. Should I do any extra activity?

every link there.
