Although even I dont know much about the application. As per their recent
communication, its an Ajax protocol based application. They have tried
testing it with HP load runner but faced lots of issue because of the Ajax.
Any compatibility idea of JMeter testing with Ajax.
Your help is appreciated.

Jmeter can test web applications and most applications that expose a Java
API of sorts (including DB's with JDBC). It cant test thick clients. So yes
it should be able to (with varying levels of difficulty) test whatever you
have listed. It doesnt do so well with workflow or asynchronous sort of
applications , but thats probably true of any application that needs to
test
workflow/asynchonous apps.
Your question is too broad however.
