I have proposed a draft patch with some screenshots to view this new tab in action: http://www.milamberspace.net/jmeter/Bug_37156_formatted_view_vrt/screenshots/ I have some questions for you (Jmeter's users): * Any suggestions to find a way to display large parameter value (like SOAP) (perhaps a button at right "More" in 3rd column with a new Message box?) * Have you need to parse cookies values (multiple cookie)? (new table or more button?) * Have you need to display only tab for current sample type ? (if current sampler is not HTTP, no need to display the tab HTTP in bottom?) or we leave all bottom tabs (Raw, HTTP, JMS, LDAP, etc.) * Since JMeter 2.4, there the tab Response data and a new combo box (Text, HTML, regexp, etc.): perhaps it's better to use bottom tabs on response data panel and remove combo box? (same look / UI that this new request panel) With tabs we need only one click to change response view (before 2 clicks: display list and to choose the view) Any comment is welcome. Thanks in advance.
