Category: Interface Improvements Group: None Status: Open Priority: 3 Submitted By: molvisions (molvisions) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: holding down the mouse 'pauses' script execution Initial Comment: results of a conversation between Eric Martz, Frieda Reichsman, and Tim Driscoll: Frieda: Mouse action: while a script is executing, hold down mouse to rotate, zoom, etc--any mouse operation is possible while script execution waits until mouse is released. This is currently the way Chime works on Mac but not on Windows. Tim: I will submit this as a feature request. would you consider this as an option, if possible, maybe something controllable by an applet param and script command? or do you want the default behavior changed? Eric: In further thinking, it occured to us that this enables users to rotate structures during script execution, ending up with the wrong perspective in a tutorial. Frieda thinks people won't mess with tutorials at least in first viewing. She's probably right. I don't feel strongly about this proposed behavior or default, and in any case deem it low priority. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=379136&aid=925529&group_id=23629 ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials Free Linux tutorial presented by Daniel Robbins, President and CEO of GenToo technologies.
