Yes, rendering time should be exactly the same. Jmol does not actually *use* the model adapters internally. It only uses the model adapter to retrieve the data so that it can construct its own data structures. So, Jmol essentially _read_ the cdk model in the same way that it reads a .xyz file. Once it is read, the rendering speed is exactly the same.
