I think it would be very useful if Jmol could show molecules and reactions (including labels for molecules, reactions arrows, labels for radicals and so on) from *.mol and *.rxn files in 2D in the way they look in, say, ISIS/Draw. I tried to use Jmol applet for this purpuse, but I have the following problems: 1) Jmol writes Xx instead of radicals such as R1, Alk. 2) Jmol draws labels for atoms a little bit righter and upper than they should be in the molecule drawn in 2D like in a book. 3) Jmol draws labels for all atoms including carbon, although I would like to display all atomic symbols except carbon. 4) Jmol draws steric bonds like common single bonds. 5) Jmol does not display reaction arrows from *.rxn file. 6) Jmol does not display labels for molecules from *.rxn file. I think this feature is very important because this is the way we usually see molecules and reactions in books. Please write what do you think about this. P.S. Excuse me please for my English, it is not my native language. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=379136&aid=1214557&group_id=23629 ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: NEC IT Guy Games.
