Damn, that's not nice :/
It seems, I will have to open a support request to get this done,
because I have no idea, how I could fix it remotely.

It did not work (I tried it, see cvs changelog for xml2po.py
v1.5->1.6->1.7). But the script still misses the executable bit in a
freshly checked out copy.
