I like the idea of a Jmol widgets package. However, we will have to
think a little about what should be where. Many of the things such as
buttons and menus that are in Jmol javascript are just widgets too.
We have to be careful about moving them for backwards compatibility,
although we could make jmolinitialize load the widgets package if it
isn't loaded.
I also played with Bob's idea for simplifying the picker palette
generation. It is definitely simpler to see what I was doing, but we
now have to decide exactly which choices for colors we want in the
palette. A first attempt is now on the sample page.
If we decide to build this package we can also change the
syntax. I haven't touched that yet.
