I think I found the problem. I had to add and select the new JDK version in the
preferences for Eclipse (as per
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/7669899/how-to-run-eclipse-indigo-on-jdk-1-7-osx).
I thought that since I get version 1.7 when I do java -version that Eclipse
would be using that one as well....

I had no trouble compiling on my systems, although I seem to have lost the file
JmolDevelopersGuide.html. So I agree with Bob that there is no problem with
