Well depends a bit on how 'new' the code is... changing algorithms should be out of the order, but commiting additional Rasmol script command implementations should be ok, i.e with a focus on *additional*... But in general I would like to have us all focus on the bugs and documentation for now... The docs are written in DocBook XML 4.1.2, see www.docbook.org. There is a reasonable written Guide on DocBook on that website. The length of the freeze depends a bit on how many bugs we encounter, and how long it takes us to fix them... Miguel, if at a certain time you feel that you can no longer contribute to the bug fix/documentation process, and want to continue implementing really new stuff, please feel free to tell me this, and I'll probably will open a branch then for the next release, if the actual release is still far away... is that ok? > > Please report any problems you > > find in the current code in cvs. > > > > Standing problems are: > > - Jmol applet has problems with older JVM's > > - Jmol and applet do not show colored atoms > > The application works fine ... it is only the applet that does not show > colors > > > - CML reading fails for certain cases > > Good job fixing this. > > > - Documentation is *not* up to date, please extend the User Guide > > I suppose this is my chance to learn how to write doc ;^) Yes, that would be much appreciated ;) Egon ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.NET email is sponsored by: SourceForge Enterprise Edition + IBM + LinuxWorld = Something 2 See! http://www.vasoftware.com _______________________________________________ Jmol-developers mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/jmol-developers
