I've done the same for Jmol.

Subject: [Cdk-devel] Unused variables in CDK

Hi all,

today I read an article about PMD
(www.onjava.com/pub/a/onjava/2003/02/12/static_analysis.html)
which is an open source project to discover 'problems' in Java
source code. The project provides a nice website where you can
have your SourceForge project tested, and it now tests CDK too:

http://pmd.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/webpmd.pl

The results for CDK are pretty interesting. We're topping the list
with the most 'problems' found. I am not completely sure what
the problems are that are being detecting (just unused things
i think), but we have 203 unused variables in our project:

http://pmd.sourceforge.net/reports/cdk_cdk.html

(at 14:57 GMT)

The check is run every three hours at 10 minutes past the hour.
It seems to have run at 2:10 GMT, so figure out when newer results
are available ;)

Egon
