There are no hooks in Jmol for an application to be able to received these events.
But now I see where you are going. You want to be able to completely drive Jmol (either as a subsystem or as a separate app) from another application. I was thinking of Jmol as a standalone app rather than a "rendering subsystem". What you are proposing/asking for makes good sense. >> OK, so you want a new syntax/language. The RasMol/Chime scripting functionality allows you to hide individual atoms & bonds. This functionality is not yet available in the UI. I have not yet asked Egon, but I am going to propose that "delete" be replaced with "hide" > I should probably revist the rasmol syntax and see what functionality is > present >> >> >> >> > You must be brave to ask for a shopping list! >> >>brave? ... or stupid! :) >> > HTH >> Don't know what HTH means ... please translate :) > > HopeThisHelps Thanks!
