What kind of server? Servlets? Or does it implement a (custom) protocol?

Great! That's actually on of the goals of the CDK project ;) To have people
learn about chemoinformatics.

Yes, that should get you aquanted with the code base of Jmol...
it should not be that hard, though... and was mostly put up as a reminder :)
Nevertheless, please have a look at it, as it will require you to browse the
code and find hidden global variables...

Preferably, as changes from the b6 branch in cvs...

To start with I would like to see them as unified diffs...
If things work out for both the Jmol developers team and you, you will get a
cvs account... Is that ok?

I've send a copy of this message to the jmol-developer list, where all things
are discussed. I would like to ask you to send the diff to that list too...
Attachements are ok, though you might get a warning that the message is too
large... in which case I have to manually approve the message (life would be
so much easier if spam was never invented)...

One last question/remark. The next release is due in two/three weeks.
This should not put a time scale on your work, but is just suppost to be
informative ;)

regards,

Egon
