Scott,

If the vectors are in the file, then they are displayed.

For a simple example, you can open the file samples/cs2.xyz

Make sure vectors are turned on under Display -> Vectors

For vibration:
 - open samples/phenylnitrene.g94.out
 - open Extras -> Vibrate
 - play the animation
