On the b6 branch side, there is not much left... Did you have had a thought about the "Close Window" option, which I asked about? On the HEAD branch there is a lot that can be done... You told me you were interested in chemistry... More of that later... A few other things that need to be done, are these: 1. is designing and implementing a plugin mechanism for Jmol... like jEdit is using... Preferably, even with the looks of what jEdit is using in terms of docking... see www.jedit.org, and it is (L?)GPL, so it would be simply copying code, and putting the glue in the right places... The reason for the latter, is that the project is getting more and more complex, and its applications grow every day... it would be nice to be able to 'reduce' the GUI by selecting only those plugins that are required for a specific field... 2. the Renderer needs to be ported to CDK, i.e. should share the same API as the Renderer2D and R3D in CDK... see http://cdk.sourceforge.net/rfc12.html This needs to be done in close contact with Miguel... And a bit more chemical is this one: 3. is porting the Jmol IO to CDK (cdk.sf.net)... I've upgraded the CDK IO API, and it is now ready to port the Readers and Writers in Jmol to CDK... I can use some help there... Related to this, is that the file IO needs better debugging and testing facilities, to be implemented after the port... There are also two new file formats which are not yet implemented at all... But this latter one I can do by myself too... If you want to do even a more chemical things, we should discuss your interests...
