The JmolApplet now works (once again) on MacOS 9 with Netscape 4.78. It
was working a few weeks ago, but somehow it got broken.

I was able to borrow a Mac G3 333Mhz PowerBook with MacOS 9.2 and spend a
few hours of 'quality time' with it. It turns out that the 'problem code'
was something I introduced to make the applet work better on Mac OS X.
Somewhat ironic.

On a 333Mhz G3 the applet is *painfully* slow. The combination of a slow
CPU plus an iterpreted Java Virtual Machine is a killer. Brian, I now
understand what you were saying about it being 'unusable' on MacOS 9.

But, there are people out there running MacOS 9 on faster hardware. And
some of them may get some use out Jmol.
