I've also implemented to store any CML2 attribute for these descriptors, e.g. unit, delimiter (for arrays and matrices), ... with the elements, these elements are stored in a Hashtable and each data container implements a ResultCMLProperties interface which allows access by getCMLProperties(). So the storage is easy and customizable.
