Summary: Atoms don't show in Safari

Initial Comment:
Using Safari in Mac OS X 10.2.6, the molecules on the Jmol
applet page are displayed showing bonds only - no atoms.
This may be a Safari problem.

Jeff,

This is a problem with Apple's Java Virtual Machine. Happens
with Safari and other browsers as well as with the Jmol
application.

A future release of Jmol will have a new graphics engine
that (hopefully) will eliminate this problem.

Be advised that Safari does not yet support LiveConnect
communications between JavaScript and Java, so applet
scripting via JavaScript will not work.

Miguel
