Summary: mouse gestures - z-rotation

Initial Comment:
The applet does not respond to mouse as stated in the
documentation on
http://jmol.sourceforge.net/applet/#Mouse%20gestures it
says:
"Shift-Right Mouse Button - horizontal movement of the
mouse rotates the molecule in the z dimension"

This is what would be expected (same does
RasMol/Chime). However, what does z-rotation is
Shift-**Left** Mouse Button (Jmol10pre11, both app and
applet).

(Better to fix the behaviour, not the documentation.)

Fixed.

Shift-right drag now controls z rotation. This will help the
Chime experts on PCs.

shift-left drag continues to be both z-rotation and zoom ...
for the Mac folks.

The documentation refers to the current v9 release of Jmol.

The mouse gestures were chosen to avoid problems on the
macintosh platform.

At this time there are no plans to change the mouse gestures
in Jmol.

If you feel that this is a serious issue then please present
an alternate proposal that will work on platforms with one
mouse button.
