[Jmol-developers] adapt jmol to work in ms .net framework?

I'm working on an educational chemistry application for use in the Brown 
University intro to organic chemistry class. For reasons beyond my 
control, we're doing this in C#. I've been fighting with the Direct3D 
renderer, and I realized, gosh, there are some great molecular 
visualization tools out there; why don't I just use them?

The reason is... none of them are written on top of the .NET framework. 
So, I'm thinking about trying to "upgrade" (as microsoft calls it) Jmol 
to a Visual J# project. Then I can embed a Jmol viewer in my C# 
application. Has anyone tried this, that you know of? Any suggestions, 
thoughts, waves of revulsion, etc?
