Robert, Glad that you are interested in contributing to Jmol. I have been responsible for writing most of the current Jmol code ... but I have not written any documentation. Please feel free to ask questions. Give them to me one at a time, and I will make an effort to write up the answers as documentation that we can include in the source files as javadoc.
