Jmol defines the default model to be /1, not /0
should this be altered in Jmol for compatibility?
I suppose it should be changed ... but I will need to ensure that it does
not break anything.
good
I have just checked in code that makes the default 'model number' start
numbering from 0 instead of 1
This was done for compatibility with RasMol.
However, having made this modification I am now having second thoughts.
This means that animated frames of .xyz files are going to start with '0'
instead of '1'
I fear that this will be a problem for existing users.
I think that I need to roll back this change ... but am interested in
comments from others.
my comment is above, I only suggested,
though I haven't read a negative users comment on this, with Jmol
10.00.15 it has been rolled back?
What I think to be more important is the support for altLoc, but only
*%A seems to be loaded now, again.
set ribbonedge on
seemed to have been rolled back, too.
Regards, Jan
