It has been a long time since I looked at what you did.

I need to look again.

But I think that an xml format is fine.

xml formatting is fine.

If possible, I think that the parameters should be similar to those used
by the Jmol.js functions, so that moving back-and-forth between Jmol.js
and MediaWiki would be easy.

I think that it should generate Jmol.js javascript (instead of outputting
<applet> tags and JavaScript directly). Perhaps it already does that, I do
not know.

The only place I have ever run php is on Linux servers ... where I used
.rpm packages and I did not have any installation issues.
