bond 23 45 +

with the following?

select (atomno=23 or atomno=45);connect (selected)

or, maybe:

select (atomno=23 or atomno=45);connect DOUBLE (selected)

no *major* trouble for me, because in all cases I have used the bond command, I only created double bonds in aromatic heterocycles.


We don't have the goal of implementing EVERYTHING that can be done in Chime/Rasmol. (Personally, I don't have the goal of implementing ANYTHING just for Rasmol/Chime compability....)
I use RasMol and only suggested it, and if it would be easy to implement I don't see a reason why not (the bond command itself) but I (have to) adapt to everything (Jmol offers).
