I have added support for this and checked it into the svn repository.

You can enable this functionality using 'color background none'


Note: This functionality is intended for SDK applications where Jmol is
being integrated in with other packages. If one executes 'color background
none' in the application or applet then the results will be *interesting*
and platform-dependent.
