Summary
=======

The Jmol trunk has changed substantially. 'svn update' will bring a number
of changes to your development environment.

The jmol trunk should only be used for specific bug check-ins until the
offical release is made.

Other integration and experimentation work can be done in separate branches.

Detail
======

I have been planning an 'official' release before the end of March 2006.

Over the past few weeks some substantial changes were introduced into the
code. Given the target release timeframe, I decided that those were too
destabilizing.

Therefore, I rolled back to the 10.00.48 release. I then selectively
applied some of the patches to bring the code base forward. The trunk was
moved to a branch, and this 'rollback' branch is now the new trunk.

If my testing goes well, I will make a 10.00.50 prerelease today based
upon this new trunk.

I will send a separate message regarding branches.

Please do not check code into the 'trunk' unless you are working on
specific, localized bug fixes.
