[Jmol-developers] Using jmol viewer in other java programs

Hi,
Congratulations for developing such a wonderful application, using open source philosophy.

I am interested in using the jmol renderer in my own application. I heard that it is possible, but dont know how to go about it :-( Can anyone give some pointers for starting ??

Also, how difficult will it be.. Do I have to go through the source of jmol ?? Or is there a API with good documentation  ?? If not, is there any aim of developing an API ??  I am sure there will be many, like me, wanting to use jmol in there applications :-)
