Hi all, A Dutch open source organisation has set up the Dutch equivalent of the Google Summer of Code: a student can work (payed) three months on an open source project. This Dutch version needs a Dutch mentor, and I registered as mentor for Jmol, the CDK and Bioclipse.
I was asked to write up one or more three-month student tasks, so that the students can pick something. At this moment the odds are bad: 30 mentors/projects and five open positions, with the option of a few more (they are still negotiating with a few IT companies...) With Jmol's cool graphics I think we could do well, but we need one or two attractive project descriptions... I think it can be both on the Jmol code itself, as well as on the JavaScript code to embed Jmol in webpages... Anyone who wants to bring in something? If not, I'll set up something myself... the wiki pages are at: http://wiki.jmol.org/index.php/ProgrammeerZomer Egon -- Egon Willighagen http://chem-bla-ics.blogspot.com/ ------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
